Job Description
We are seeking an IT Product Owner for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Englewood, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and influencing a cross-functional team to ensure the team delivers platform capabilities that meet business needs from all departments.
- Defining, prioritizing, and grooming work backlogs for the API Platform.
- Working with our customers to better understand the features and user stories, decomposing them into tasks for developer consumption.
- Owning and managing the intake of work to the application backlog including day to day grooming and prioritization; facilitating iteration planning efforts to ensure that development teams have organized work.
- Facilitating daily stand up meetings with development, QA and Operations teams.
- Coordinating cross-team delivery, managing dependencies, and defining best practices.
- Planning and managing the delivery of software to our customers.
- Sharing and evangelizing the work completed, backlog, and velocity for the team.
- Manages product quality and implements appropriate corrective/preventive actions required to achieve product readiness and improve product capabilities.
- Communicates to every possible audience from front-line customer service agents to C-level executives to ensure understanding of product and functionality.
Qualifications
- 5 years of combined experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile PM (with Product Owner focus)
- 5 years of experience of full lifecycle and agile development & deployment.
- Ability to manage development progress at all system layers including data, processing, and front end system.
- Ability to resolve issues regarding operations, implementations, and system status.
Additional Information
This role will be onsite in Englewood, CO and will be a contract-to-hire opportunity.
